Mumbai, March 26: Mumbai Indians Women (MI-W) defeated Delhi Capitals Women (DC-W) by 7 wickets in the final of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
Match Summary
DC-W, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, posted a challenging total of 113/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Yastika Bhatia top-scored for DC-W with 33 runs, while Jemimah Rodrigues contributed 23 runs. For MI-W, Hayley Matthews and Issy Wong took three wickets each.
